So what exactly is a digital marketing specialist?

I like to think of myself as someone who is curious about the internet and how it can be useful to connect with potential and existing customers, friends, family and random strangers.

Facts about me:

• Nearly a decade of digital marketing experience at Osiris Trading and Upstream Advertising (part of Telesure)
• I have a degree in marketing (BCom) as well as a diploma in advertising from the AAA School of Advertising
• I’m a family guy – and the only male in the house surrounded by women
• Don’t give me any of that R ‘n B stuff – I’m a rock ‘n roll kind of guy
• My bedside table has a tower of half-read books – don’t judge me!
• I enjoy coffee but can’t handle caffeine – oh well, life’s more interesting when you have the jitters
• I’m old enough to remember bad 80′s TV shows and reckon the quality of viewing hasn’t improved much (except for Battlestar Galactica Re-imagined)
• I’m an after-hours freelance writer through http://hotcopy.co.za/ and a digital marketing consultant through http://caprica.co.za/
